Pee Wee Menard
and the Trail Herders
WKNB New Britain, CT

About The Artist

Pee Wee Menard once toured the USA with Roy Rogers for two years. An able fiddle player Pee Wee was also with Pappy Howard's troupe for eight years. Pee Wee and his Trail Herders backed up Gene Autry when Gene did an "F.B.I." show in Hartford, Connecticut.

Their specialty was said to be square dancing, but also appeared at the various ranch shows and theatres.

At one time, they had a half-hour Saturday morning show that aired over WKNB in New Britain, Connecticut. During their stint in New Britain, it was written that they were planning Saturday night jamboree shows that would be held at the Stanley Arena in New Britain.
