Tommy Tweet WHO Iowa Barn Dance Frolic

About The Artist Tommy Tweet was said to be a native of "Sunset Corners" who 'return(ed) home' each Saturday night to join the WHO Barn Dance Frolic show. He was a bit of comedian it would appear. He could handle one of those good old fashioned tunes, but he also had a long history in vaudeville and night clubs and was able to toss out what seemed like an endless supply of wisecracks. They also wrote that he could turn out better parodies faster than composers could write new songs. And they wrote that if you wanted to page him in the lobby of a hotel, you'd ask for Bernie Dunn.
