James Bartow Henry, 95, of Danielsville, GA, formerly of Norcross, GA, son of James F. and Rosa Mae Henry, died February 19, 2012.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 22nd, Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross with Rev. James Gunn and Rev. Eddie Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21st, at the Royston Church of God.

Mr. Henry was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during W.W. II. He was a charter and life member of North Dekalb Lodge #714 F&AM and life member of American Legion Post #251. He was also a life member of the Atlanta Federation of Musicians #148 and #442 and the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.

Preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Dean and Steven Nicholas Henry, he is survived by his wife, Hilda E. Henry of Danielsville; sons, Pastor Larry Henry and his wife, Jackie, of Suwanee and Jimmy Henry and his wife, Merle, of Danielsville; sister, Elizabeth Petree of Greer, SC; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
