Kilroy's Bombardiers

About the Group The zany looking group here was known as Kilroy's Bombardiers. They drew their name from the night spot they appeared at, Kilroy's, which was in the San Francisco Bay area back in 1946. They wrote that this group did everything but commit 'mayhem' on the bandstand. No shortage of platitudes for this group who was said to be "zany, musical and terrific".
