About The Group
Their names were Arlee and Evee and they were "The Rangerettes". They had joined up coming from WMT, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa station and went to KMMJ in Grand Island, Nebraska. Doc Embree wrote in a "Mountain Broadcaster" magazine report in 1945 that "..the girls have a very big following, won by doing the right songs, the right way."
