About The Group

Back around 1944 or so, this group had a daily show at 9:15am on WLS and Red was the vocal star at the time. They WLS Family Album noted that several of the boys were working at the defense plants during the daytime hours. This was kind of a common theme through a few war years, paying tribute to the war efforts and the servicemen.
