Sunbonnet Girls
WLS National Barn Dance

About The Group

Back around 1944, Connie and Bonnie were the Sunbonnet Girls on the WLS National Barn Dance. They said they could '...not only sing, but who know how to get weeds out of carrots.'

They grew up on a Nebraska farm and WLS Family Album said they didn't have to be shown how to work in the radio station's Victory Garden.

Little else is known about this duo at this time.
