About The Artist
Tommie Summers was a popular act in the metro Washington, DC area that included Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. He played the part of vocalist and emcee, too. He started working with his group, the Cameron Valley Boys back about 1946 after he got out of the military service. In 1951, he was working for WFAX in Falls Church, Virginia. Tommie was also a songwriter. They said his most popular tune was "It Rained Down Sorrow". Credits & Sources
