About The Artist
One of Dale's strongest influences was the legendary Hank Williams. His career has spanned many years. He's shared the stage and show billings with many of the legends of the country music business - Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Little Jimmy Dickens, the Wilburn Brothers, Cal Smith, Jack Greene, Jeannie Seeley, David Houston, Bobby Bare, Ernest Tubb and Hank Thompson.
But it wasn't until November 1994 when Dale appeared on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry house. A long time friend of his, Robbie Wittkowski, Bill Anderson's road manager, made arrangements for his guest appearance. He appeared on Reverend Jimmy Snow's Gospel show, singing Hank Williams' "I Saw The Light."
Dale and Carl were also asked to appear in a new movie that was to be about Oklahoma's first black Marshall. Dale's most recent recordings have been on the GM Records label.
