About The Artist Jimmy Flanary and the Mid-Westerners were a popular act in the early 1950's that played a tri-state area of Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri. They appear to have gotten together about 1948 or so. They were said to have signed with the Rich-R-Tone label to record on their Folk Star label. A couple of the tunes they had released by then included "Easy Livin'" and "All Because of You". Credits & Sources
