About The Artist

In the late 1940's, Monty was appearing with the "Sleepy Hollow Ranch Gang" over WFIL in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group was also featured on the weekly Saturday night show out of the Philadelphia Town Hall at 10:30pm.

Monty got selected to join the Sleepy Hollow Ranch Gang when they decided they needed a good looking accordion player. At that time, he was said to have been celebrating his tenth anniversary as an radio entertainer.
