The group's work with Mainer lasted for about two years and ended not long after their Bluebird session. Jay Hugh Hall had earlier worked with his brother Roy as the Hall Brothers. After leaving Wade Mainer he worked with Roy again, leading his second unit at WBDJ in Roanoke, Virginia. Ledford who had earlier been part of the Carolina Ramblers also worked with Jay Hugh Hall at WBDJ. Many years later he led a local band around his home town of Bakersville, North Carolina and recorded an album for Rounder in the late 1970s. Moody later joined Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys and then went solo in 1945. He worked in various venues and recorded extensively on both large and small labels. Credits & Sources
