About The Group

From an old scrap book clipping, we found "The St. Louis Kids" were contributing to "novel morning entertainment" on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:15am over radio station WJBL, which today is in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, the Indian Head area of the state. They identified the female singer as "Dot" and "Curly" was her duet partner. They were reported to also do "unusual instrumental novelties". Dot had an "exceptionally wide range" in her yodeling voice. Curly played all string instruments and the harmonica.
