About the Group
About The Group Back in 1957 they were getting attention on their rise to fame. They were known for their 'wonderful harmony' and sang some of their own compositions. They were said to have accepted an offer by the Tex record label to cut a few sides. The group was comprised of three brothers, Mack, Allen and Blackie Byrd and came to Sedalia from Tennessee. They spent a few years on the road making personal appearances but one day decided to acquire their own club in Sedalia. They called it the "Double 'B B' Corral" (the B B was for Byrd Brohters ). Their fiddle player, Curly Collins was with them for many years and was said to be able to do some great hoedowns. Timeline and Trivia Notes Group Members included:
