About the Group

About The Group

They were Betty Jack and Mary Frances. But fans knew them well as the Davis Sisters. They were a hit act over WCPO-TV in Cincinnati for a couple years. Then they were regulars on the "Kentucky Mountain Barn Dance" that was broadcast over stations WKLX and WVLK. And later, they were on the "Big Barn Frolic" out of Detroit, Michigan over WJR.

By 1953, they were living in Covington, Kentucky, that is, when they weren't busy traveling to personal appearances.

There's is a story with more to come as you will see as time goes by here.
