WLS National Barn Dance

About the Group

About The Group

They came to WLS at the latter part of 1934. They called them Allie and Billie for short.

Back home in Michigan, they sang at church and in club concerts in Northern Michigan where they were discovered and asked to audition at WLS.

Not that we want to reveal their ages, but in the 1935 WLS family album, they said that Billie was 21 and Allie was 19.
