About The Group

Back in 1955, you could catch the Texas Tornadoes over channel 15, WICA-TV in Ashtabula, Ohio. Their show was on Sunday evenings. They started their stint with WICA in about 1954.

The group's program was said to consist of western tunes and comedy.

The band included a husband-wife team of Dave and Irene Stowe, who also were the leaders of the group.
