About The Group

The Montgomery Brothers were a featured act over WOMI-FM out of Owensboro, Kentucky back in 1952. As the name of the group suggests, the three fellow that made up this group were indeed brothers.

Their theme song was a tune called "Just A Song Of Old Kentucky". Part of their popularity was attributed to the '...wonderfully different arrangements' of the music they played.
