Blue Steel Boys
WHYU Newport News, VA

About The Group

The Blue Steel Boys were a troup of six entertainers brought together by Dave Bingham and Hudge Woodlard. Also featured with the group was an 1l-year old singer at the time, Gary Church. A 1954 article tells us of the boys in the band, but little else. At that time, they had their own show every Saturday from 4:30pm to 5:00pm over radio station WHYU out of Newport News, VA.
