Andrews Brothers
WSM Grand Ole Opry

About The Group

The Andrews Brothers were known for their two-voice harmony tunes and about 1955 or so, were recording on the MGM record label. The brothers were natives of Mobile, Alabama. While in Mobile, they were seen on "The Big 3 Jamboree" over WALA-TV every Saturday afternoon at 5:30pm as well as on Tuesday and Fridays at 6:00pm.

These guys were a close-harmony duet act that were brought onto the Grand Ole Opry to replace the Delmore Brothers.
