About The Artist

Professor Wayne W. Daniel was a long time fan and wrote numerous articles related to the history of country music. He was one of the first people to discover this web site and was a long time supporter and friend to the site with his many contributions and insight.

Georgia State Professor Emeritus Dr. Wayne W. Daniel recently funded a library endowment to support the acquisition of material related to Southern gospel, bluegrass and country music. The collection?which includes material amassed personally by Daniel will be part of the Special Collections Popular Music archive. As a note, the webmaster for this site has taken advantage of Mr. Daniel's endowment and donated and shipped his collection to Georgia State University.
