About The Artist He was born Edgar Lee Qualls, but country music fans came to know him as Edde Lee. He was one the mainstays and regularly introduced on Uncle Bob Hardy's televsion show, the Hayloft Frolic as "The Big boy...with the Big voice...Mister EDDE LEE ". Edde was the son of a Midwestern Preacher. He had an outstanding singing voice which was a hit with the fans, both on television as well on the personal appearance tours the Hayloft Frolic gang made throughout Southern Indiana and Eastern Illinois. After the Hayloft Frolic ended its run, Edde toured the Country, often on the Holiday Inn Circuit. He entertained audiences with his singing along with his piano and organ talents. In the late 1960s, he had moved to the Keyes in southern Florida. His great voice became silent...and he is now singing on a stage at a higher level. Credits & Sources
