About The Artist

Ramsey had a half hour show on Saturdays from 11:30am to 12:00noon on WDXI in Jackson, Tennessee back in 1951. Uncle Tom Williams, the WDXI Farm Editor discovered Ramsey performing at the various local functions.

He had lofty aims, trying to follow Eddy Arnold's advice to practice, practice, practice to achieve stardom. During his stint, it was said he got "...hundreds of letters and cards..." each month.
