About The Artist

Bob Mack's early career may have read like a country song as he was a coal miner, a truck driver and oil station operator. But with all those jobs, he still found the time to make some hillbilly music. Bob was a versatile musician, adept on the electric Spanish guitar, bass fiddle, rhythm guitar and harmonica. In mid-1951, he was packing them at the Old Bear Inn in Momence, IL.
