Dave Rich Born:  February 3, 1936

About The Artist Out of Central City, Kentucky, Dave Rich arrived on the hillbilly music scene in 1956 when he was all of 19 years old. At that time, he had just recorded his first tunes on the RCA Victor label. He had his own barn dance every Saturday night and was also working as a disc jockey. He was also a songwriter. And his first RCA Victor release featured his songs on both sides. One was "I Think I'm Gonna Die" and the other was "I Forgot".
