About The Artist

Around 1956 or so, a new radio station, WTCB, had hit the air from Flomaton, Alabama, a town a bit northeast of Mobile and near the Alabama / Florida border. One of the acts entertaining folks over WTCB was Jimmy Tyler and the Lone Star Ramblers.

The article mentioned the boys had aspirations of getting their music recorded and released to enable them to broaden their careers beyond the radio station.
