About The Artist He billed himself as "Ole Poor Boy" back in the 1950s when he was on WPEO out of Peoria, Illinois. He had two shows each day, Monday through Saturday. One was at 5:30am to 6:15am; the other from 11:15am to 11:55am that included the Willis Brothers and Tommy Sosebee. He also appeared with them each Tuesday and Thursday over television station WTVM from 7:00pm to 7:30pm. By then, he was already a well-travelled, seasoned entertainer for they indicated he had performed in 36 of the states. Credits & Sources
