About The Artist

He was born Jasper LeRoy (Rusty) Barr, Jr. in Salt Lake City to parents Jasper LeRoy and Myla Inga Horsley Barr. He took his talents to the entertainment business.

He became a musical entertainer using the stage name of Rusty Diamond. He appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. He shared the stage with such stars as Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and others. He was a song writer as well. He recorded for Starday at one time.
