Ray M. "Carl Stuart" Schacht, 86 , of Bowers, died on Friday, Nov 27, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born on Dec 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Rachel (McKeown) Schacht.
Carl was a Country Music Entertainer for many years and owned WHOL Radio, Allentown. Carl also owned the Nite Life Restaurant / Bar, Macungie.
He was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Ellen J. (Salmon) Schacht, daughter, Danielle L. (Boyer) Becker, wife of Roger Q. Becker, Bowers,
grandchildren Raegen, Joshua, Dane, Mandy and Anthony and great-grandchildren, Logan, Haily, Ella, William and Mikhael.
Services: Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 am
at Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 W. Main St, Kutztown. Burial will be in Bowers Union Cemetery, Bowers.
A Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
in his memory to the Reading Musical Foundation, 201 Washington St, Reading, PA 19601.
