Virgil Laverne Cox passed away peacefully at home with his wife and
companion, Ann, at his side on Sunday, May 7th, 2006; in his 82nd Year. Virgil
Cox, of R.R.#4, Orillia, beloved husband of Ann Lynn Cox (nee Edger).
Dear father of Virginia of Oklahoma City, Candace of Wichita Falls, Kansas, Kevin
(predeceased), John of Port Severn, Trish of Midland, Jamie (predeceased),
Norm Macneall and his wife Susanne of Toronto, Brenda and her husband Robert
Frost of Orillia, Barbara and her husband David Dobrindt of Arlington, Texas.
Poppa to many grandchildren in both Canada and the U.S. Predeceased by sister
Billie Wickersham.
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home,
38 James Street East, Orillia on Wednesday, May 10th from 12 noon until
time of funeral services at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow.
Memorial donations to War Amps or charity of one's choice would be appreciated
by the family.
